Hutton Pension Review

Hutton Report and Pension matters

Dear all

I am aware that many Officers have many questions regarding the Hutton review into public sector pensions. Unfortunately there is very little detail at the moment, which I appreciate is frustrating for Officers. It would be wrong to speculate on the future of Police pensions whilst the consultation period is ongoing.

I have spoken at length with The National Federation Chairman and Secretary and I am more than confident that your Federation are doing all it can to protect your pensions. Cleary, this will be an uncertain time but I would ask that you bear with us and don't listen to rumour as this could be damaging.
