OCU 6 Sergeants representative - Dave Phillips

I am an SNT Sergeant based at Andover and I have 31 years in the Hampshire Constabulary. I have been a Federation Representative since 2005 and I am now the Secretary for the Sergeants Branch Board. My main interests are in misconduct and I am a Federation Friend, able to assist officers in most matters relating to allegations and complaints. I am also chairman of the trustees of the Hampshire Federation ensuring that all funds are held properly and within our trust rules. Some of the other issues I have been involved in are as varied as Health and Safety matters, claims against pensions and benefits and operational issues.

As a Northern Area rep I meet with the OCU Commander to try and resolve local issues and as a member of the executive committee we take those unresolved issues to the Chief Constable and other ACPO members.
