About Us / Executive Committees
This committee meets on a bi-monthly basis in the morning, before the Joint Negotiation and Consultative Committee (JNCC) in the afternoon.
The committee is comprised of the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of the Joint Board and three members of each rank board (usually the Chair and Secretary plus one other).
Their role is to review the current conditions within the Force and consider improvements to the conditions of Officers within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
This committee is responsible and reports to the Full Joint Branch Board.
At JNCC meetings the Executive members meet with ACPO members to discuss agenda papers which may have been brought by either side. The remit of the JNCC meeting is to seek resolution to differences between parties on matters of policy or direction with the Chief Constable acting as the decision maker.
Where possible the executive members will always attempt to resolve any issues before resorting to the JNCC meeting.
