I am the Sergeant's Reserve Seat Rep which is the seat reserved for the minority sex by the Sex Discrimination Act 1975. This has recently been repealed by the Equality Act 2010 but for now, the position on the federation remains. This means that I represent all female sergeants across the force. I have been a fed rep for 6 years and have 17 years police service with Thames Valley and Hampshire. I have worked in a variety of roles and stations. I am currently a TPT Sergeant at Gosport.

I have 2 young children and have previously worked part time and on flexible working arrangements. I can give advice on all matters relating to equality, grievances, maternity/pregnancy, part-time/flexible working, disability, sickness etc.

I am the Equality Lead for the federation and I am currently working on disability issues within the force and assisting with maternity workshops.
